This is an amazing video with the message: "Show a little respect". I totally agree with the lyrics, they are beautiful and powerful. There are many people in this world who need to hear this song and see these pictures.

No one should be alone, we all have a family

Humans sometimes adopt a child or an animal that needs a family. In nature this is possible too. A baby hippo was adopted by a 100 years ol tortoise. The hippo survived a tsunami, but he lost his mother. A tortoise took care of the little hippopotamus and now they do anything together.

The story and also the picture (other pictures too) can be found here.

Have you ever thought about your local animal shelter? Have you ever thought how can you help them take care of animals without adopting one (if you can't afford having a pet) or without adopting too many?

The Humane Society tells us Ten Ways To Show Your Local Animal Shelter Some Love. Of course it would be great if you adopted a pet and give him or her a home and lots of love, but if you can't afford taking care of one because you don't have the time, the space or the money needed, it's a good idea to do at least one of those 10 things presented on The Humane Society page.

Today we will take a walk in the nature. For the last days NatBH featured only videos that should open the eyes of the world and make people see and understand the reality around us, a cruel reality, which can be replaced by a wonderful reality if we all contribute.

Here's a beautiful part of the nature. We have to see the colored spots of the life too. This video is a proof that nature is a great and relaxing place.

If you want to know something about a specie, you want to see some relevant pictures or you simply want to listen to animal sounds, there is a place where you can do all these, by a single click. Animal Diversity Web contains information, list of specimens, classifications, pictures and even sounds. ADW is a very complex site, with lots of information.

Have you ever wanted to find out why is the scientific name so complicated? On ADW you can read about scientific names: What is in a Scientific Name?.

I think Animal Diversity Web is a 5 stars site for anyone interested in animal life.

Have you ever been to circus? Have you seen how wonderful are those animals who are presented in the show? That's wrong! Most of us do not know how those animals are treated. Here's a video about how animals from circus are taught to do what they do. It's cruel, harmful and totally wrong. These creatures should NOT be treated like objects, like products for sale. DO NOT SUPPORT CIRCUS SUFFERING! Do not applaud animal abuse!
